At the Ohio River Surfing Association our mission is to grow river surfing in the state of Ohio, create lasting and safe river waves, promote river use safety, advocate for the health of the rivers we surf, and foster an inclusive whitewater community.
VISION
Our vision for surfing in Ohio is to bring more waves to our rivers. We believe river surfing creates plenty of positive opportunities and growth for cities. We see river waves connecting people to waterways, promoting a sense of responsibility and value to river environments, contributing to the local economy by bringing folks from out of town to patron local businesses, and creating a unique community of whitewater use and passion for rivers in which younger generations are a part of.
